Cancellation & Refund Policy
Last updated
How deposits, prepayments and refunds work when you book a table, ticket or guest list spot on Nightlife.
At a glance
- Each venue sets its own cancellation rules. Refunds are issued by the venue, in full if the venue cancels.
- You pay either a deposit to hold your spot or the full price upfront. The checkout tells you which.
- If the venue cancels the event, you get a full refund.
- Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe, usually within 5 to 10 business days.
- No-shows and late cancellations are usually not refundable.
1.Who sets the rules
Every booking on Nightlife (operated by [Company legal name]) is made with a venue, and each venue sets its own cancellation and refund rules. This page explains how those rules are shown to you, how payments and refunds work on our side, and what happens in the cases every booking can run into.
It complements our Terms of Service. Where a venue's own policy is more generous than this page, the venue's policy applies.
2.Deposits and prepayments
Depending on the offer, the checkout asks for one of two things:
- A deposit: a part of the price paid online to hold your table or spot. The balance, and anything above it such as your minimum spend, is paid at the venue on the night.
- A full prepayment: the whole price paid online, typical for tickets.
The checkout always shows which one applies and the exact amount charged today. Free guest list spots involve no payment and so no refund.
3.Each venue sets its own policy
Each venue sets its own cancellation rules, and they are part of your booking. Ask the venue (or write to us) before you pay if you are unsure. Typical examples:
- full refund if you cancel more than a set number of hours before the night;
- deposit kept, or a partial refund, for a late cancellation;
- non-refundable, as is common for tickets and special events.
If an offer shows no specific rule, treat the payment as non-refundable unless the venue agrees otherwise.
4.How to cancel
Contact the venue, or write to us at contact@since09.dev with your booking reference and the email used to book. The time we receive your request is what counts against the venue's deadline. We confirm by email whether a refund applies and how much.
5.No-shows, late arrival and refused entry
- No-show: if you do not come, or arrive after the hold time the venue states, the booking is usually not refundable.
- Refused entry: venues may refuse entry for missing ID, being under age, dress code, intoxication or conduct. A refund in that case is at the venue's discretion under its policy.
- Smaller party: arriving with fewer guests than booked does not by itself reduce a table price or minimum spend.
6.If the venue cancels or changes the event
If the venue cancels the event, closes for the night or cannot honor your booking, you receive a full refund of what you paid online, whatever its usual policy says.
If the event changes significantly (a new date, or a headline performer no longer appearing), the venue may offer a move to another night; if that does not suit you, ask for a refund before the original date.
7.How refunds are processed
- Refunds are sent through Stripe to the original payment method. We cannot refund to a different card, in cash or by bank transfer.
- We start an approved refund promptly. Your bank then typically takes 5 to 10 business days to show it on your statement.
- A partial refund appears as a separate credit for the refunded amount. Amounts paid at the venue on the night are refunded by the venue directly, if at all.
If a refund has not appeared after 10 business days, contact us at contact@since09.dev and we will send you the reference your bank needs to trace it.
8.Chargebacks and disputes
If something went wrong, please contact us before disputing the charge with your bank: most issues are solved faster that way. If you file a chargeback, the venue and Nightlife will provide the bank with the booking, policy and check-in records. Filing a dispute for a booking you used, or that the policy made non-refundable, may lead to your account being restricted.
9.Contact
For any question about a cancellation or a refund, write to contact@since09.dev with your booking reference. We will coordinate with the venue and keep you posted.
